Presentation Sisters are involved in a range of Pastoral Ministries. The following examples give a flavour of the important work in which they engage. Faith Development - Chaplaincy to Schools: A number of Sisters work at Diocesan and Parish level in the area of faith development while others work as Chaplains to schools. In the past, Sisters have been involved as Catechetical Advisors.
Mount St Anne's Retreats - Mt. St. Annes: At Mount St. Anne's, in Killenard (near Portarlington), the sisters run a Retreat and Conference Centre . Here in the heart of the countryside, they welcome all people. They offer them time and space to rest and get in touch with themselves and others, and to experience God's love and care for them.
Pastoral and Social Ministries: This work takes place in Parishes and among local communities where Sisters live. Some Sisters work as Parish Sisters in collaboration with the local church and concentrate mainly on the Christian life of the local community. Other Sisters work with local statutory bodies and with voluntary organisations in order to improve services and the quality of life in general for families.
